Hee-haw! and a giveaway

I was able to sleep in today. It was absolutely lovely. I started some laundry, straightened the kitchen, and actually made my bed (this doesn't happen as often as you'd think. I'm very lazy). Then I called my hunny.

I said, "Hey hunny. What's up?"
He said, "I was woken up at 1:30 by the police."
WHAT?!

Apparently, the police knocked on his door at 1:30 in the morning. He went to answer the door and they said, "Sir, is this your car?"
It was.
"Well, sir, we have a small problem."
They didn't say what it was at first. They were uncomfortable.
"Well, in your backyard...there are...two donkeys."
Two donkeys?! Whose are they? he asked.
"Well, we were wondering if they were yours."
No, they were not his donkeys.

"Oh. Well. Can you please move your car so animal control can take them out? And also, they left you a few presents."

Wow. That's a weird one.  I've never had a donkey in my yard. Have you ever had any unrequested animals in your yard?

Anyway, I just set up a new giveaway at Teacher's Notebook. I love how simple they are to set up and enter. You can win my bee themed classroom set! I think I'm going to start on an ocean themed set soon, for my friend Lisa. She is a shark fan.

  4. Donkeys? Seriously? Other than the occasional raccoon, snake, and adorable bunny rabbit, I can't say that my yard is that exciting. What a hoot!
Hope your summer is off to a great start!
