It sounded fishy, but it was legit. I did need to watch it.
I usually don't include political ideas on this blog (except for the occasional rant about testing). But this is important. This isn't about Republican-Democrat politics. This is about something that, as educators, we all believe in, which is the right for a child to have a childhood.
We can spend 22 minutes watching Dance Moms yell at their kids.
We can spend 22 minutes watching alcoholics drink and go to Italy.
We can surely spend 20 some minutes watching something important about our world.
I already went to Invisible Children and donated. It's the least I can do.

I just watched this today and I did during my break at school...I shouldn't have, because when I cry my face gets all blotchy and it did today. I haven't donated yet, but I plan on getting the kit. I'm looking over some of the controversy behind it first. It's a great cause, but I would like to know where my money is going first. I plan on posting it this Saturday.

I have friends from Uganda. It is so sad! They have been working for years to stop the rebels. Both he and his wife have lost family members. My heart breaks for them.
