Wowsers.

I've started this post about five times. These are the starts:

I feel like a truck hit me today.
Today was not a bad day. Why do I feel like it was?
Where is Ryan Gosling when you need him?
It's embarrassing when the fire department shuts off your water cause it's pouring from your air conditioner down your roof and onto the sidewalk.
Wine is my best friend.

But all of those posts are depressing.
So instead, I'm going to send out an ENORMOUS thank you!
After work today
while I was feeling super grouchy
because of a school meeting that made me angry
because I love my school enough
to know when it needs to do better
I opened my email and saw, like, fifteen new emails!

I've spent the evening downloading cute Valentine's Day stuff.
Now I just have to figure out how to use it.
I'm thinking it might be great to use some of it with our buddy class
on special days, we work with our second grade buddies.
It's fun for the kids
because my kids get to be the 'big kids'
and teach the 'little kids'
and it's fun for me
because I get to see my second grade buddy, Irene.
We get to tell the 'big kids', "Help your buddies!"
and the little kids have to listen to them.
It's a nice way of saying, "Go away!"
It's nice for us.
