I'm resisting the urge.
My hand keeps straying to the mousepad.
I really really really want to do it.
twitch
I'm trying to distract myself by watching The Haunted on Animal Planet.
This stuff weirds me out.
Men with 'somber faces', 'sharp teeth', and 'enormous horns' are not something I like to think about very much.
Sometimes I enjoy scaring myself in the moment, even though I know I will regret it later.
Like, a lot.
Like, I'll be up at 1:00 in the morning, staring at the curtains, wondering if they are moving in my brain or in real life.
Yes, being scared turns me into a five-year-old.
But I know why I'm allowing this to persist.
I'm trying to distract myself from a terrible addiction.
One which has only doubled since I found a new supplier whose goods are even better suited to my needs.
KPM Doodles.

KPM Doodles is the cutest ever.
I recently bought a few packages of cute stuff I had to have.
HAD TO.
Did I mention my terrible week?
How I have a list of people I want to kick in the face?
No?
Well, I guess I have mentioned it now, and you understand why I was driven -
forced, even-
I had to-
it's not my fault-
to purchase clipart.
First, I bought this:
It's got the cutest clouds ever. My goodness, I couldn't help myself.
I made this K-1 number match activity:
Available at TPT and Teacher's Notebook
and then I made this "Ten Tiny Drops" game as a part of my 55 page Multiplication Activities Pack for grades 2-4, also available at TPT and Teacher's Notebook.
But even that didn't kill the user in me.
So this week, I bought this from KPM Doodles:
and then I'd be one of the few with such an awesome deal,
but just look at how cute the little boy with the curly hair is?
How could I not share him?
I've already used it twice.
Once in my Kinder/first Lucky Number Match:
Available at TPT or Teacher's Notebook.
And once (or a million times) in my 55-page St. Patrick's Day Lucky Literacy and Math Centers for 2nd and 3rd grade.
Also available at TPT or Teacher's Notebook.
And, since I'm addicted, I'm going to put together some cute freebies and share them with you this week.
Cause I feel lucky.
But I can quit whenever I want.
Really.
Maybe I'll just check out her store one more time.
In case I missed something.

*Ok, this is two hours later.I failed.
I should've called my sponsor.
As soon as my hunny got up to take a shower,
I buckled.
And I just bought this:
And I bought this, which is actually seasonal.
And I got this for free, and it's so funny.
Look at the one with the bunny ears! LOL
I'm gonna tell my kids this is what they look like.

Lol those kinds of shows always make me jumpy! Especially if it's at night...and I'm alone.
ReplyDeleteI adore KPM Doodles!

Okay, Chrissy:
ReplyDeleteThis is just too weird.
Today I looked at the rain set (loved the clouds), the Thanksgiving set (loved that pie and the turkey!) and the St Pat's set (Thinking ahead?)
Did you see me there?! Clearly I was right behind you or in front of you because we were looking at the same stuff!!!
Don't list me as a sponsor--I'd be saying, "But it, Buy it! Make more of your super cute stuff!"
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
And thanks even more for such a fun and funny post. It made my rainy day much brighter!
Soooo... Instead of kicking anyone, go to KPM, look around, then come to my blog and tell me what else I should buy! That should take your mind off of kicking or purchasing. Unless there is clip art of people kicking... Is there a soccer set?
No!
Don't check!!!
