Currently...January!

Barf.

I don't feel very good.

At first I thought it was the eighteen cups of coffee I have consumed over the last three days,
but now I'm not so sure.

I think it's time to admit that maybe...
possibly...
hopefully not...
but probably

I'm sick.

I have issues with admitting that I'm sick.
I think that, once you admit you're sick,
you're done.
It's over.
You lost.
You're going down and it's going to be ugly.

So usually I pretend I'm not sick until it's impossible to deny.
Like now.

My boyfriend demanded that I leave work "early"
by which he meant 4:30 instead of 5:30.

So I did.

I should be resting.
Boo.
I hate resting.

So I'm doing my Currently...January instead!

I love these things!

My OLW (as everyone's) probably needs explaining. I'm still not completely crazy about it.

It's really hard just choosing one, but you can't have TLW (twenty little words) or FLW (fifty little words) or they're just not little anymore.

So I went with present. This is why.

I am a planner. Like, big time. I spend more time thinking about what's next than I do thinking about what's now.

For example,
the other day, I was sitting on my couch watching something dumb and stalking.
I started to think about someday (dangerous), when Fernie and I get married.
We'll move into my little house that I've lived in for eight years by myself.
And worked on
and put in wood laminate floors
and painted
and invested in
and repainted
and improved noticeably.

And he'll move his things in
and change things.

And then we'll have a little family
and the kids will grow
and we'll run out of room

and someday we'll need a new bigger house
and we'll move
and start over.
By this time, I was crying.
That's ridiculous.
It hasn't even happened yet!

So I need to stop and enjoy the present because the future will come, no matter what, and I'm missing what's now.
Someday I'll miss the time I have had by myself in my little house
and being single
and teaching as a lifestyle.

I have to be more present because that's where I am.

Speaking of planning...
