Busy Day

Today is a weird day.
I'm waiting for my hunnybun to come back from visiting his friends in San Antonio.
Chili is in the crock pot.
Sherlock is on the TV. I love Martin Freeman.
I'm counting the days until my freedom is surrendered to twenty very short people. I don't want to.

I just finished writing my first post for the blog I'm contributing to: The Best Endings!

Check it out for lots of book recommendations! There are a wide range of readers contributing, so you're bound to find something you like.
I am very excited to be contributing.
I feel extra pressure to read more. It's a good thing - I have several books that I'm supposed to have read for a book club I'm in. We're meeting on January 9th. Let's say I have a ton of few pages left to read. They're professional books. It's a little harder to psych myself up to read them. But I will - and I'm sure I'll be the better for it.

I also ended my fifty follower giveaway and used the random number generator to identify three winners!

I feel bad saying this, but I really really really don't want to go back to work. I have enjoyed my time sitting around the house and blogging, getting to know all my new blog friends. I am really going to have to force myself to get up early. Boo.
